Khatira, 43, goes about her daily chores in the home she shares with her husband Etibar in the village of Taxta Korpu in Aghjabadi, Azerbaijan on May 27, 2013. They were two of the 13,000 refugees originally from Lachin in Nagorno-Karabakh who fled their homes between 1988 and 2012 as a result of the armed conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. By the time a ceasefire agreement was signed, an estimated 30,000 people had been killed and more than 700,000 internally displaced.
