A young boy climbs on the ruins of a derelict building while a horse grazes nearby in Aghdam, Azerbaijan on May 30, 2013. Their homes are on an internally displaced person (IDP) settlement on a former cattle farm. 13,000 refugees originally from Lachin in Nagorno-Karabakh fled their homes between 1988 and 2012 as a result of the armed conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. By the time a ceasefire agreement was signed, an estimated 30,000 people had been killed and more than 700,000 internally displaced.
